Congratulations to Vicki Sanders, Councillor for The Corporation of the District of Saanich, winner of a vehicle safety kit with one year of roadside assistance. Vicki stopped by our Shift Into Winter booth at the UBCM (Union of BC Municipalities) Convention and tradeshow to spin the prize wheel and enter our draw.
While at our booth, we discussed the key Shift Into Winter campaign messages: Know before you go; Prepare yourself; Prepare your vehicle; Drive for the conditions. We also spoke with Vicki about the just-released free online winter driving safety course. It’s a great resource to help employers prepare their drivers and their vehicles for the challenging winter ahead. Vicki agreed to check out the course and share it with her network.
